Certificate of Theological Apologetics

A note from Edward Dalcour:

Greetings

First I would like to thank you for your interest in having a DCD seminar at your church. This ministry, the Department of Christian Defense is committed to the task of evangelizing the cults and defending the gospel of Jesus Christ. I lecture primarily on the subject of cult evangelism in order to equip Christians to have answers and communicate reasons for faith.

I have found when dealing with an abundance of information it is most effective not to overload an audience in one session but rather target main points in 2 to 3 lectures if possible. With that in mind I do recommend multiple lectures (e.g., Saturday night/Sunday morning and/or week nights).

Each lecture will be followed by a brief question and answer period.  In regards to the question and answer period, this is a very important time. It not only gives members of the church an opportunity to get some much needed answers but in some cases it provides members of the sect; (e.g., Mormons, Oneness Pentecostals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Roman Catholics, etc.) which the lecture is about; an ample opening to show up and ask questions which proves to be very influential and informative for all listeners. (Microphones are needed for the questions).

Youth Seminars: We offer youth conferences called CTAC’s (Christian Teen Apologetic Conferences) ranging from cult evangelism to the reliability of the Bible and general historical Christian apologetic workshops specifically designed for the youth (from Middle school to High school ages). It is the youth that are the most targeted by skeptics at the schools and by non-Christian cults who see the youth as “easy converts” not knowing or understanding what and why they believe.  The youth need to be up to date, and have a knowledge and understanding of basic biblical theology. They need to be equipped to present biblical answers and not be duped. Please contact my office for unique school assemblies and programs to keep our youth riveted for God's work.

The Department of Christian Defense is a non-profit organization and is supported by ministry donations and offerings. We send out 3 newsletters every semester covering a wide range of apologetic topics. We also supply tracts, literature, and photocopies of material free of charge. In point of fact, near 82% of the devotees of non-Christian cults come out of Christian denominations! Christians must be biblically literate to accomplish the task Christ set before them. Let me know what I can do to accommodate your needs at your church.

Please contact us for more information or to schedule a seminar

Thank you
